Join the Canadian Carwash Association on Wednesday, April 21 for our Annual General Meeting & an exciting Education Session: 

Chemistry 101:
The Importance of an Effective Chemical Strategy in your Carwash

Moderated by Michael Howe - CCA Board Member and General Manager, BayWatch Canada - this session will provide participants with an insightful discussion on chemistry challenges and best practices within the carwash industry. From pre-soak, to rinse, presenters will be highlighting optimal chemical strategies that can be applied throughout the various stages of the car washing and treatment process.

Education Session:
Chemistry 101: The Importance of an Effective Chemical Strategy in your Carwash

Moderator: Michael Howe, General Manager, BayWatch Canada 

Michael Howe is currently the General Manager of BayWatch, an automotive manufacturer and service provider for car wash entities. Starting out as a licensed electrician, Michael has enjoyed a 30-year professional career spanning various leadership roles across many sectors and industries. Recently, in 2019, Michael led the development of the Canadian market for BayWatch Car Wash Door Solutions. He remains is passionate about car wash door technology, and providing value to the professional community.

Presenters: 

Jeff Beam, Account Manager, Mondo Products Co Ltd

      

Jeff Beam - a 40-year veteran of car wash industry - began his career journey as a car wash attendant in Kitchener, Ontario. Jeff eventually transitioned into carwash chemical sales and service, then chemical technical support; where he gained a wealth of experience, frequently travelling across Canada and the U.S. to help customers with their wash chemical needs. He also serves as a valuable member of the CCA Board of Directors and has been for over 3 years.


Dave Hill, Operations Support Manager, Transchem

        

Dave Hill is the Operations Support Manager and Resident Expert at Transchem Group. With a strong focus on product development and with a career spanning over 20 years with Transchem, Dave has extensive experience with and intricate knowledge of chemical actions, in addition to car washing best practices. Prior to this role, Dave’s influence has touched virtually every aspect of the business, including  manufacturing, as well as being a field technician.


Stuart Hulsey, Technical Services Manager, Zep Vehicle Care

      

Stuart Hulsey is a technical chemistry/applications consultant, who has worked in the Car Wash industry since 1988. With degrees in both chemistry and physics from the University of North Georgia, Stuart specializes in how chemistry relates to and works with the other various parts of the car washing process.
