Thank You for Making the 2026 CCA Bus Tour a Success!

Despite the cool, damp weather, the Canadian Carwash Association (CCA) Car Wash Tour on March 11, 2026, was a great success! Attendees gathered at the Toronto Congress Centre early in the morning, ready to explore some of the area’s top car wash operations. A coach took the group to three different locations, where they gained firsthand insights into various business models, technologies, and customer service approaches.

Our first stop was Crosstown Albion, 1760 Albion Rd, Etobicoke. They operate 24 hour self serve coin bays, express wash drive through with unlimited monthly members, touchless in bay automatic, and free self serve vacuums. Sergio and Domenic DiMonte, along with their team from Crosstown, welcomed the group and led a guided tour of the facility.

Next, we visited Tommy’s Express Car Wash, 6 Maritime Ontario Boulevard, Brampton, the first Tommy’s franchise location in Canada. Their services include a variety of wash packages including a full-service tunnel, vacuums & mat washers. Team members from Open Shine and Tommy’s walked attendees through the operation and answered questions along the way.

The final stop was Ultramar, 305 Fogal Rd, Brampton. The site includes an Ultramar gas station, an On the Run convenience store & A&W restaurant, and an in-bay touchless automatic carwash. Representatives from Sunoco, Mondo, and Transchem provided an overview of the site and were available to answer questions from the group.

We also extend our appreciation to Tommy’s Express Car Wash for sponsoring this event and providing attendees with coupons for a free wash at their Brampton location, along with coffee and donuts. A special shout-out to the Transchem team for providing additional coffee and donuts at the Ultramar location, and to Jason Hands from Sunoco for providing more snacks before everyone got back on the bus.

A big thank you to the three car washes for welcoming our group and taking time out of their busy schedules to share their expertise. Despite the weather, enthusiasm remained high, and the tour wrapped up back at the Toronto Congress Centre just in time for attendees to continue networking at CARWACS.
