Nominations Committee: Notice to Members
The Canadian Carwash Association (CCA) Nomination Committee is now accepting nominations for Directors to stand for election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on Monday, March 2nd, 2020. Candidates must be individuals 18 years of age or older. The term of office is one (1) year. You must be a member is good standing to run for a position on the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Association and conducts CCA's business by a majority consensus at regular bi-monthly meetings. Directors are required to participate and become knowledgeable and active in the management of the affairs of the Association. Each year Board members must attend at least (fifty) 50 percent of the Board meetings unless special circumstances exist. Communication takes place on an on-going basis by email, and meetings are held by teleconferencing whenever geographical constraints prohibit physical attendance. Directors participate on a volunteer basis and no remuneration is received. Please refer to CCA bylaws for further details on our website (www.canadiancarwash.ca). If you would like to stand for the position of CCA Director please download and complete the nomination form to include a short summary of your carwash industry experience and send to firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to the address below by February 24, 2020.
