Christopher Armena, National Sales Manager, Mark VII Equipment – Grimsby, ON.

Chris is a Mechanical Engineer and prior to Mark VII, has spent all 18 years of his career working in the petroleum industry for Total Oil and Chevron. During his tenure, Chris spent 14 years working on the corporate side and four years on the entrepreneur side, running his own Chevron Gasoline Station and Xpress Lube franchise.

 


Morgan Arnelien, Carwash Program Coordinator, Energy Products, Federated Co-operatives Limited – Saskatoon, SK.

Morgan provides guidance and strategic direction for over 130 Co-op Carwash locations across the Prairies/ Western Canada. Prior to his current role, Morgan was the Energy Marketing Coordinator at FCL, where he was responsible for developing carwash and gas bar marketing campaigns.

 


Jeff Beam, Mondo Products Co Ltd – Ajax, ON.

Jeff started in the car wash industry 40 years ago as an attendant at a Gulf Oil carwash in Kitchener, Ontario. After a successful 17 year carwash management career with Petro Canada, Jeff transitioned into carwash chemical sales and service. As a 23 year veteran of carwash chemical technical support, he has gained a wealth of experience, frequently travelling across Canada and the U.S. to help customers with their wash chemical needs.


Domenic DiMonte, Crosstown Car Washes – Toronto, ON.

Domenic has been in the carwash business for more than 30 years. He is involved in a family business with his brother, and his father has worked in the carwash industry for over 60 years. What initially started as a full service carwash has since expanded into express exterior carwashes as well as the coin washes. Currently, Domenic owns and operates several businesses and has experience in operating and developing various types of carwashes, and is adept at spotting developing trends in the industry.


Mitchell Easton, Category Portfolio Manager – Car Wash for Petro-Canada, a Suncor Business – Mississauga, ON.

Mitchell has been involved in the convenience and gas business since joining Petro-Canada in 2010. He has held a variety of roles within the company. Most recently he was the Team Leader – Merchandising, for the Petro-Canada retail network. Mitchell graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. Currently based in Mississauga, ON, Mitchell’s career has afforded him the opportunity to work across the country, including almost four years based in Edmonton, AB. He is excited to grow the carwash portfolio and to participate in the future of carwash technology and guest experience.


Sameer Haidari, Category Manager, Circle K – Central Canada Division –  Scarborough, ON

Sameer has worked at Circle K since 2013 and acts as the Category Manager, handling all carwash operations within Central Canada. During his time as an analyst for Circle K, he capitalized upon every opportunity that involved analyzing and generating insights regarding carwash trends and the industry as a whole. His profound understanding of the operations and delivery of carwashes have led him to manage hundreds of carwashes for Circle K. Sameer hopes to contribute and aid in the continual development of the carwash industry by providing leadership as one of the CCA Directors.

Jason Kaye, Bayview Car Wash Ltd – Toronto, ON.

Jason has been exposed to the carwash industry his entire life and now represents the third generation of car washing in his family. Since 2008, he has been actively involved in two successful full-service locations, being Bayview Car Wash and Doctor Car Wash, both located in the City of Toronto. Jason is a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader, and he manages over 30 employees and serves the public on a daily basis. Jason is proud to represent the growth of the carwash industry in Canada as the President of CCA.


Sean McBride, Cleaning Systems, Inc – Michigan, Detroit, USA.

Sean McBride is currently a member of the Key Account Team at Lustra Vehicle Car Care, a division of CSI. Previously, Sean had been with Belanger, Inc. for 13 years, including eight years directly managing the Tunnel Product Line Division. Sean’s carwash career began at an early age where at 15 he started and worked for over eight years helping manage a high-volume tunnel in Michigan, gaining a hands-on understanding of tunnel operations. He and his wife, Sarah, currently reside in Southeast Michigan, and have three kids, Kirsten, Tighe and Payton. 


Terry McGowan, Business Development Manager, Mosaic. – Hamilton, ON.

Terry is the Business Development Manager at Mosaic. From 2010 to 2015, Terry worked as a Key Account and Marketing Manager for Mark VII. During his time with Mark VII, Terry was responsible for partnering with large oil organizations and private owner/operators alike. Prior to 2019, Terry took some time off for other business pursuits but recently decided to rejoin the carwash industry with Mosaic, as he felt their cutting-edge technology and thought leadership was exactly what the carwash industry needed.

Jamie Shaw, National Car Wash Manager Canada for 7-Eleven Canada, Inc

Jamie has over 30 years’ experience in the retail industry, including 20 years in big box retail and eight years owning his own business as a retailer for Imperial Oil. With the 7-Eleven acquisition of some of the Imperial Oil carwash sites, Jamie decided to join 7-Eleven as the National Car Wash Manager Canada. Jamie has extensive knowledge of the carwash business and is very passionate about the industry.


Karen L. Smith, Training and Compliance Manager, Valet Car Washes – Kitchener, ON

Karen began her career in the industry in 1993 as a retailer, operating gas bars, convenience and carwash at Shell Canada. She also served on the Shell training team. Karen joined the Valet team in 2012 in a management capacity Karen’s role quickly developed into Training and Compliance Manager. With the ever-changing and additional rules and regulations on labour laws, health and safety and compliance, it became a full-time job keeping up with new information, developing policies and procedures and enhancing the health and safety program. Karen had previously served on the CCA Board of Directors from 2002-2004.


Rudy van Woerkom, Belvedere Technical Service Ltd.– Sturgeon County AB 

Rudy's introduction to the carwash industry was in the mid-1980s, providing vehicle access control equipment in Calgary. He then went on to spend seven years servicing industrial laundry equipment. In 2000, Rudy started Belvedere Technical Service to get back into access control, which led him into servicing carwash equipment. While Belvedere Technical Service Ltd. is a distributor for D&S Carwash Equipment as well as Airlift Doors, they service all makes of equipment. After many years servicing and installing equipment, Rudy acquired Big City Auto N Truck Wash. Operating this 12-bay with automatic carwash allows for two perspectives of the industry. By becoming a CCA Director, Rudy hopes to put this "double-edged" experience to help industry members see the benefits of the association.


Tim Walker, Owner of Revin Media – Dundas, ON.

Revin Media's primary focus is on creating a consistent, customer-focused brand strategy to help companies achieve their fullest potential. Revin currently specializes in the carwash industry, though previous clients have come from a variety of sectors including food and education. From brand concept, design, design imaging, site signage, marketing, printing to installation, countless clients have realized significant returns from implementing Revin Media's leading edge, branding and marketing initiatives.
