Brad Goetz, 2009 Ted Snyders Recepient
At the Canadian Carwash Association’s annual golf tournament in September, 2010,
President Richard McKinnon presented the Ted Synders Achievement Award to CCA Board member Brad Goetz (left in photo) to recognize his
significant contribution to the Association and the carwash industry.
Brad has been involved
with and committed to the carwash industry for many years. He has been employed in a sales and management capacity with
Mondo Products for over 25 years. Brad is presently Vice-President of Vehicle Washing Equipment Sales & Service for
Mondo Products Company Ltd. Brad Boston, President of Mondo Products, described Goetz as “Much more than an employee
of Mondo.
Brad is an ambassador for our company and the whole carwash community with his honesty, work ethic and
passion for the business. Brad’s positive attitude and good sense of humour makes him a mentor to all of us as
we tackle the day-to-day challenges of our business and personal lives”. Brad has served on the Board of Directors
in various capacities since 1994 and was the Association President in 2001-2002.
The Canadian Carwash Association owes its foundation, literally, to Ted Snyders who spent all
his working and volunteer life in the carwash industry. Ted finally retired six years ago at the age of 83.
When asked recently what his fondest memory of the CCA was he responded with, "There's a 101 of them".
However he did add, "I am amazed how much can be accomplished if you join together rather than do things separately".
